Tristinika Beach — Attraction in Municipality of Sithonia

Tristinika Beach is a stunning, semi‑wild stretch of coastline on Sithonia’s southern side—about 5 km south of Neos Marmaras.

Nearly 1–1.5 km of golden sand on the beach and in the water, offering space and tranquillity  . Crystal-clear, turquoise waters that deepen quickly—ideal for swimmers and snorkelers.

Reachable only by car via a short unpaved road off the main highway; parking available near the northern end  . Parking is free .

Camping Area: Open “wild” camping is common, with tents pitched along the shore or in designated sites near the eastern side  . Bring shade & supplies: most of the beach lacks natural cover; bring umbrellas, snacks, and water.

Sunset spot: West-facing position means spectacular, full-day sunshine and colorful sunsets .

Unfortunately me and my family stayed 30 min on a beach area that seems to be managed by a hotel, near the camping area. There was a small kiosk with coffee and drinks where the bartender informed me that he couldn't give me nothing to drink because I wasn't staying at his hotel. He also told me that I should move from that area because the sunbeds were reserved only for the hotel customers. There was no sign with private area, no hotel indicators, no kind of mark to inform the visitors of these "rules". The beach was a medium one, some of the straw umbrellas were broken. Tristinika beach is a very long sandy beach and almost deserted (excepting the west corner near Ethnik Bar). Also the Iza camping located on the eastern part of the beach is quite abandoned. The water is not very shallow as you can expect and also not quite crystal clear. Anyhow on the far east of the beach there are an interesting rocky formation and a tiny island that is the most interesting spot for snorkeling.
