Issos Beach — Attraction in Municipality of Southern Corfu

I went to Issos beach twice.

The first time to the more secluded side of the beach. It has lovely sandy and clean waters, although they get very wavy if there is wind, which is normal. This side of the beach (which would be to the right when you exit the parking) has plenty of space for people that bring their own beach mats and it also has two beach mats with an umbrella for 10 euros. The sand is lovely and theres a little coffee shop with food.

The second time we went was the entrance from Agias Georgias or St. George. This side has a lot more plants in the water and the sand is a bit dirty. However, there is space, wi-fi and a market nearby.

Both sides have seperate parkings, both free and big. Its easily accessable with a bit of the road being a dirt road, but nothing too difficult for...

Issos Beach in Corfu is a breathtaking destination with its pristine sandy shores and clear waters. It's an ideal spot for a relaxing day by the sea. The natural beauty of the beach is truly unparalleled, and the spaciousness ensures you never feel crowded.

Two sunbeds and an umbrella cost 15 euros, which is quite reasonable. We opted to add an extra umbrella without additional sunbeds and paid 5 euros more, totaling 20 euros. This flexibility was a nice touch.

However, there's only one small chiringuito serving the entire beach, which often results in long lines. Adding more refreshment points would greatly enhance the overall experience.

Despite this, Issos Beach remains a fantastic location for sunbathing, swimming, and enjoying the serene environment. Highly recommended for anyone...

After many years of coming here, this has become our favorite beach in Corfu, it is truly magnificent! First of all it is huge, so even if there is a lot of people you can still find parking but also a nice quiet spot to yourself (even for nudists if you like that) The water is fantastic, crystal clear and always clean, the best for swimming in my opinion. There is only a small canteen on the beach (with any kind of snacks you need, cards accepted too) so no loud music or distractions.
