Paralia Plaka Dilesi — Attraction in Municipality of Tanagra

This is a great beach to visit with kids of all ages, even when they're a bit older and want their own space!

The sea remains shallow for a long way out which means children can play without risk. During peak seasons there is lifeguards and at the town end of the beach there is a cafe / bar that serves drinks and some food long after the sun goes down.

Additionally in the afternoon and evenings there is a play area for children that includes games and an inflated rhino!

There is a good amount of shade provided by the trees that line the beach and there is even a decently priced taverna a short walk down the beach.

Our Dilesi could be soo much more than what it is now, it has beautiful beachfront, lots of trees, shallow warm water perfect in the summer time, little picnic benches full of people talking and having a cold one.. over the bay the mighty Dirfy mountain watching us...but what do we do when the Gypsies sleep on the beach all summer long, when stray dogs are everywhere...too bad ...Dilesi can be an awesome turist destination, it would be enough for the authorities to just take care of...

Να είμαστε πραγματικά ειλικρινείς. Η παραλία είναι μέτρια, ειδικά το καλοκαίρι όπου οι βοριάδες και τα μελτέμια την μεταλλάσσουν σε βούρκο. ΟΜΩΣ ! Και εδώ είναι το μεγάλο "αλλά", η συγκεκριμένη παραλία έχει πολλά μικρά προτερήματα. Μόλις μία ώρα από την Αθήνα. Είναι τόσο κοντά από το δρόμο που απέχει το πολύ πέντε μέτρα! Έχει ντουζιέρες και καμπίνες για αλλαγή ρούχων. Όταν έχει καιρό μπουνάτσα αποζημιώνει και τον πιο απαιτητικό. Ελάτε ακόμα και το χειμώνα Δεν θα χάσετε. Η ηρεμία του τοπίου αποτυπώνεται μόνο από το θόρυβο που προκαλούν οι ψαρόβαρκες. Δείχνω και μερικές πανοραμικές φωτογραφίες όπου το βουνό από πίσω με τα πεύκα αγκαλιάζει την περιοχή. Α!
