Mainalon ski center — Attraction in Municipality of Tripoli

Impolite staff, awful owner. He hang up the phone just because we called to complain about the line and the priority of the teachers. He just said out loud very angry “go to another ski center” and he hang the phone. We’ve been traveling all over the world, it’s the very first time we encountered such an impolite business owner. I will address to every competent public audit body, as it is not been announced written that the teachers have priority and me and my family spent a lot of money, waiting in the queue and just watching four teachers and their students passing in front of the rest of the people!!!! A petit unpretentious ski centre located in a very beautiful forested area on the Mainalo mount. Approach it from the east (the climb up from Kardaras) as this is the road best groomed when snowed upon. The approach from the West (the ascent from Vytina) is more of a challenge as it is not cleaned off snow and a 4WD car on snow tires and skilled driver is required. The scenery is great with all the pine trees populating the slopes. The café mini bar at the base of the ski slopes is pretty basic with very few comforts and even less offered treats. Το Χιονοδρομικό Κέντρο Μαινάλου είναι το πλησιέστερο χιονοδρομικό κέντρο στην Αθήνα. Βρίσκεται σε υψόμετρο 1.600 μέτρων, κάτω από την ψηλότερη κορυφή του Μαινάλου. Απέχει 162 χλμ. από την Αθήνα (περίπου 2 ώρες), 12 χλμ. από τη Βυτίνα, 16 χλμ. από το Λεβίδι, 30 χλμ. από τη Δημητσάνα και 90 χλμ. από το Ναύπλιο. Ο δρόμος είναι καλός, με εξαίρεση λίγο πριν την άφιξη στο χιονοδρομικό κέντρο, όπου η άσφαλτος είναι γεμάτη λακκούβες.

Η μικρή απόσταση από την Αθήνα, το καθιστά ιδανικό προορισμό σε σύγκριση με άλλα της Στερεάς Ελλάδας, γι’ αυτό και γεμίζει γρήγορα από επισκέπτες. Οι υποδομές του είναι άρτιες και ενδείκνυνται για οικογένειες, παρέες φίλων, αλλά και μεμονωμένους επισκέπτες. Οι τιμές ενοικίασης του εξοπλισμού κυμαίνονται σε λογικά επίπεδα.

Το σαλέ είναι καλαίσθητο και οι τιμές του λογικές, όμως γεμίζει γρήγορα, με αποτέλεσμα να απαιτείται χρόνος αναμονής για να βρει κάποιος χώρο να κάτσει. Οι υπεύθυνοι θα πρέπει κάποια στιγμή να σκεφθούν επέκταση των εγκαταστάσεων. Οι τιμές είναι λογικές και το προσωπικό εξυπηρετικό και ευγενικό. Η θέα; Μαγευτική!
