Kimilia Beach — Attraction in Peloponnese, Western Greece and the Ionian

I would place 6 stars if I could! One of the best beaches in Kefalonia, very wild and the water is amazing. Parking: small parking area (you can find it in Google Maps), from there you can reach the beach with a 10-15 minutes walking trail. The trail has rocks so I wouldn’t recommend it for strollers. 🙂 Type of beach: rocks and pebbles, not organized. No toilet, no bars. You can either stop at Kimilia or go to the left and in a couple minutes you arrive in an even smaller beach, Kalamaki. The two are connected with some rocks, where you can place your towel (and maybe something soft under it if you have it). A beautiful hidden gem in northern Kefalonia, Greece. You can find parking spots at the Emplisi Beach and go on a 20 minutes walk through a forest to get to Kimilia. To find the path, go left (there should be a small bar on the beach, go behind it and you should be able to see the view from the second picture). Be sure to go on the left path (the rocky one), not the right- throughout the forest, you will see signs of blue and white paint on trees/rocks that let you know you are on the right track...

One of the best beaches in Greece! Just walk about 10 mins from the parking area to the edge of the woods and you will find the hidden paradise of your summer dream! Have drinking water and some kind of snaks with you as you will be there for many hours!
