I would place 6 stars if I could! One of the best beaches in Kefalonia, very wild and the water is amazing. Parking: small parking area (you can find it in Google Maps), from there you can reach the beach with a 10-15 minutes walking trail. The trail has rocks so I wouldn’t recommend it for strollers. 🙂 Type of beach: rocks and pebbles, not organized. No toilet, no bars. You can either stop at Kimilia or go to the left and in a couple minutes you arrive in an even smaller beach, Kalamaki. The two are connected with some rocks, where you can place your towel (and maybe something soft under it if you have it). Both of the beaches are amazingly beautiful. 😍 Shadow: you can find some under the olive trees, but if you have an umbrella it’s better to bring it (not many trees). 🙂 Water/Snorkeling: the water is amazing, you can do snorkeling from one beach to the other swimming beside the rocks. 😍 Bring your...

A beautiful hidden gem in northern Kefalonia, Greece. You can find parking spots at the Emplisi Beach and go on a 20 minutes walk through a forest to get to Kimilia. To find the path, go left (there should be a small bar on the beach, go behind it and you should be able to see the view from the second picture). Be sure to go on the left path (the rocky one), not the right- throughout the forest, you will see signs of blue and white paint on trees/rocks that let you know you are on the right track...

One of the best beaches in Greece! Just walk about 10 mins from the parking area to the edge of the woods and you will find the hidden paradise of your summer dream! Have drinking water and some kind of snaks with you as you will be there for many hours! You could also go for swimming on the right or left hand side of the main beach, the right one is so beautiful. The tranquil setting of the beach with many trees around and that sense of absolute relaxation is out...

The water is a bit milky, not clear for snorkeling(you can see the bottom of the sea only at 1.5 depth); we also caught a windy day so swimming was not great; also water temperature was 25/26 degrees a bit less then on Foki or Antisamos beaches. Nature is amazing there are a lot of butterflies; so the beach is worth visiting but your experience will depend very much on the wind & currents direction

Beautiful setting, very quiet, but be warned, it's quite a walk through the woods down to the beach. The signpost says 500 metres, my legs told me different lol. Don't try to get to this beach if you push a buggy, you've got no hope 😊 Worth the walk if you want a quiet small secluded beach. Very few people there, so was truly relaxing.
