Paralia Kolimpada — Attraction in Skyros Municipality

The beach is full of smooth round marble stones. This makes the adventure worth. We were all alone the whole afternoon.

The water is clear and beautiful. Lot's of waves.

The downsides: The beach is not cleaned, of course and so there is a lot of sticky leaves and stuff. We both had some stings in our toes. So bring your shoes and it's all good. No shower, of course.

You can park your car on the street and go down the way. Not too difficult, but you should have healthy legs. If you have a 4x4 or SUV or Jeep, you can go all the way down...

Θελήσαμε να επισκεφτούμε σήμερα (1/9/2018) την παραλία Κολυμπαδα και με έκπληξη διαπιστώσαμε ότι ο ευρύτερος χώρος είναι περιφραγμενος με συρματοπλεγμα και η πόρτα του κλειστή με Λουκέτο. Ρωτήσαμε έναν ντόπιο τι συμβαίνει και μας είπε ότι αυτός που έχει τα χωράφια εκεί, επειδή η μόνη πρόσβαση στην παραλία είναι μέσω των χωραφιών του, την κλείνει, την περιφρασσει και ουσιαστικά μετατρέπεται η παραλία σε ιδιωτική!! Το καλοκαίρι που έχει πολύ κόσμο επειδή πολλοί κάνουν παράπονα, αναγκάζεται, λέει, να την ανοίξει κι έτσι κολυμπά ο κόσμος. Εμείς σήμερα ήμασταν 2 άτομα και δεν μπορέσαμε να κάνουμε κάτι. Απαράδεκτο!!! Η παραλία από το δρόμο φαίνεται...

Road is closed with barbed wire. There is a kind of gate you can possibly open, but will you bring your car in someone else's property? Finally we didn't reach the beach. Wish I knew whether it is...
