So I love this place, it’s normally an easy small centre with a few runs, it caters for slalom to simple down hill with Novice and expert runs alike. However, for 2022 it’s mentally busy at the weekends as another slope near by closed for refurbishment (in peak period!!!), so this centres punters have swamped Seli. But the cafes are good, but busy with people camping at tables for hours nursing a coffee, meaning it’s hard to buy food. Strangely the owners seem happy with this and don’t clear people out, if they did they may make much more money. But the thing I like is the place doesn’t feel about money. Lift pass €15 ski hire €15 and lessons €20-25. There is a lot to like about this resort. They could go and pick the big stones off the runs in the summer, this would stop the constant damage to skis that you experience due to stones. But as I say I love this little place and only give it a 3 as it’s impossibly busy, car parking is survival of the fittest with people not thinking of others and the stones on the runs. Worth a visit if in Northern Greece. But get there before 0900...
Read moreSeli National Ski Center is very close from Thessaloniki (95Km) and just 25 Km from the city of Veroia. The ski center is situated at 1534-1900 m. That's a blessing and curse; easy access from the city and scenic views, but sometimes the skiing season is limited to 1 month. There are plenty of chalets and spots to park your caravan. It's one of the oldest ski centers in Greece. There are great views towards the plains of Imathia. The pistes are medium-hard with plenty of easy level routes. Those three things make it the cutest ski centers! Iwould recommend to avoid Olympiada (Louki) because it gets overcrowded and try Erato or Egnatia (3 km) pistes if you're average good skier/snowboarder. When there's fresh snow or powder try off-piste among the trees and...
