An amazing little beach between Agios Ioannis and Chorefto (but closer to the latter). It's definitely worth a visit, as it is quiet and tranquil, despite the several beach bars which provide sunbeds yet respect the beach and leave ample empty spaces. The road leading there, however, is awful. You follow the same road that takes you to Chorefto Beach and you have to make a turn right before you get there to go to Agii saranta, but the sign is concealed and you have to make sure to check the map on your phone at all times. Plus the road is steep and narrow and can only fit one car, so there is always a problem between those arriving and those leaving, which is fortunately settled after noon by some people assigned by the local administration. Parking space is also limited if you arrive after noon so be aware you might have to leave your car and walk a while down towards the beach, which will definitely compensate you.

Gret location: If there are no waves, water is cristal clear. Note that it becomes deep very quickly. Sunbeds are 10 euro (two sunbeds and their umbrella). There is parking space but it is getty full quickly. I recommended to arive before 10.00 AM to ensure you have where to park. Note that the last two-three turns are narrow and the road is very steep. The food at the nearby restaurnat is good, the restaurant is clean and its staff are friendly. Prices are a bit high but having in mind the location they are expected. I will return here again with pleasure if the opportunity arise.

I visited the beaches PapaNero, Horefto and Agii Saranta in Pilio and Agii Saranta is by far the more unique one. It has beach bars with “Monk” bar at the end of the beach - seemed really cool, but It has also lots of spots left for the ones that want to chill on their own, as I did. The view is really impressive. The parking guys are really helpful - very well organised and the parking is free. Keep in mind to get there early, around 10 am as the parking space is limited. Unless u come in the late afternoon when morning people are leaving the beach 😉

Από τις καλύτερες παραλίες του Πηλίου τόσο για οικογένειες όσο και για ζευγάρια και παρέες. Τελεια αμμουδιά καθαρή που δεν κολλάει σα βρωμιά. Πεντακάθαρα και διαυγή νερά ακόμη και με λίγο κύμα κι αέρα. Μαζεύει πολύ κόσμο που διαμοιράζεται όμως στο μεγάλο μήκος της παραλίας χωρίς να τον καταλαβαίνεις, στα διάφορα μπαρ, ταβερνάκια και ξαπλώστρες. Η ώρα περνά πολύ ευχάριστα. Εάν δεν φτάσει κάνεις στις 7.00 με 8.00 με αμάξι έως κάτω στην παραλία, καλύτερα να το αφήσει 300 μέτρα πιο πάνω στο πλάι του δρόμου και να περπατησει λίγο, γιατί η ταλαιπωρία κι η αναμονή λογω στενότητας και μεγάλης κλίσης του δρόμου είναι αδιανόητα μεγάλη. Θα αποζημιωθει από το υπέροχο τοπίο μετά το ελαφρύ περπάτημα αντί να περιμενει καμία ώρα να φτάσει με το αμάξι. Όλο το κόλλημα συμβαίνει στα τελευταία 300 μέτρα που στενεύει πολύ ο δρόμος με μεγάλη κλίση προς την παραλια, με κοφτές στροφές και περιορισμένη ορατότητα, οπότε είναι αναγκασμένα τα αμάξια που θελουν να κατέβουν να περιμένουν τα αμάξια που φεύγουν για να ανέβουν και να περασουν το δρόμο πρώτα. Υπάρχουν 2 άτομα καθημερινά από καποιο παραλιακό μαγαζί που συντονίζουν όχι πάντα επιτυχώς το εγχείρημα. Όπως κι αν φτάσει τελικά κάνεις αξίζει 100% η επίσκεψη. Προσοχή επίσης και κατά την επιστροφή με το αμάξι, φτάνοντας σε 2 - 3 στενά σημεία στη Ζαγορά, οι ντόπιοι με τα αγροτικά ενώ βλέπουν ότι ανεβαίνεις, θα σου κάνουν τη ζωή δύσκολη ώστε να δώσουν ένα κλικ ενδιαφέροντος στο καθημερινό τους πήξιμο.

One of the most beautiful and popular beaches in East Pelion with crystal clear water. Perfect quality of coarse sand and small pebbles which do not stick to your body. It’s app 30 min drive from Agios Ioannis Port and less than 10 min from Chorefto. Country roads to reach the beach, can be very populated during peak season but assistance is offered in parking options by two people who control the traffic in that area. Beach is exposed to North winds and may be wavy some days

We stayed there for 5 days and, even we are usually nomads, wondering from beach to beach, we never left this beautiful beach. A mix of sand and pebbles, 3 beach bars, 2 of them are serving also cooked food and the middle one serving fast food. The sunbeds 3euro each at the 2nd beach bar, including 1 big bottle of water with ice. The water is deep after 1 or 2 meters but it is wonderful. The scenery is magnificent. We love this beach and can t wait to come back.
