The waterfalls at Iliochori village are the new must in the area now that the Papingo water pools are overcrowded. The area is beautiful and the path is short but steep at the second half towards the waterfalls. Water is reasonably cold, not at cold as at the springs of "Voidomatis". Make sure you have water with you as there is only one spring at the beginning of the path. There is a second spring around half way down but with non drinking water, at least this is what the sign near it indicates. Around the waterfall area there is a deck where you can lay down and leave your belongings and also dive into the pool. Please be respectful to the place as it is a delicate ecosystem so take your garbage with you.
