We wanted to visit this water park during our vacation on Zakynthos. But at the register we got a surprise.
At this park being blind means you're just allowed in the basic pools and not the slides. And let's just face it, is the slides you visit the park for.
My partner is legally blind, but that never held us back from going to amusement parks to enjoy rollercoasters and waterslides. I just help her find her way and we get by fine without bothering others.
My advice if you have any form of disability, just don't bother with this park and enjoy the many beaches this island has to offer.
As my partner experienced it:
"Visiting this waterpark had been somewhere at the top of our to-do list during our vacation. With our stuff packed and excited for an awesome day of water fun, we arrived at the park. Unfortunately, that’s where our water adventure came to an unexpectant end.
I’m legally blind, and I had taken my cane along, even though my sighted partner generally supports me where needed. I’m very comfortable doing most things, even though some things are of course a bit more tricky than others.
But we make it work, and have visited many attraction parks, including some pretty wild water slides. So I was quite shocked when the woman selling tickets at the entrance of the park seemed unwilling to let me buy a regular ticket. “We can give you a special price, you can use the pool and the lazy river”, she told me, without any further explanation or questions about the extend of my disability.
We turned around and left, feeling too shocked to really go into a discussion with the staff of the waterpark. I feel quite upset having been turned down like this without what feels like a good reason, or at least a good explanation.
My partner and I have never had any trouble going off slides, there have never been any accidents, and no one has ever been bothered by me enjoying the same attractions none-disabled people enjoy.
I highly recommend no one with a disability visits this park. If we had been able to go past the ticket point by not showing my cane, I would have most likely been refused at the slides anyway.
I’m disappointed that people with disabilities are treated so unfairly by this park and that no attempt is made to see what is...

There are changing rooms and showers available in the W.C. building. Also baby changing room is located in the woman’s w.c. If most of you will use pools, you better put valuables staff in a locker. Lockers are available for rental at front desk. Costs you 4€ to hire a locker for the day. 1€ deposit is required which you get back when you hand in your key. If you need a first aid help, go to the reception (front desk) and there is always someone. You can also ask lifeguard on shift when its sth urgent. Regarding some more popular slides➡️ You better check the time for opening when you enter as some of them are closed at certain time (f.ex. from 2-3pm). There is Jungle Adventure, Kids are, which is great (both for very little and older kids). Also if you want to relax in the water, try lazy river. There are extreme towers if you brave enough for an almost vertical drop. You going very fast there. I damaged my bikini bottoms on one of them. Head-Down Mat are quite nice. You can have a race on the slides. Giant Black Hole (140m) is good and the yellow slide next to it too, but little bit scary. Definitely a must when you on...

Only a 20 minute drive away from the Laganas Strip as well!
The park has lockers, plenty of slides as well as refreshments.
There are several photo opportunities and they are kind enough to put them up on the photo board by the shop so you can see all your photos from the day, and you're able to buy as many photos as you want and in various forms, from cheaper prints in keyrings to slightly more expensive prints in a frame or Canvas.
The slides there are brilliant, got a good variety of slides and all of them are very fun and safe to ride. There is also a lazy river, as well as a Roman style bubble bath with loungers you can lay on.
The food and drink choices are good too, and they are fairly priced. The waterpark itself is also good value for money, with it only costing about 20 euros.
The waterpark also has other bits and bobs to do, such as go karting and zorb balls.
Only negatives about the park, are that the lockers are a bit expensive, and when I went there were lots of wasps flying around, mind you, that's probably out of the parks control.
Other than that, its a fantastic place to go, it's very fun and it's good value for money. I would highly...
