The place was AMAZING. Google maps worked perfectly to get me there. The sign is rather small but there is a sign stating where it is.

We parked on the side of the road, our car was safe.

DO NOT hire the locals to be your tour guide, no matter how much they insist. I was almost scammed out of $10 USD ($27 EC) by some kids. The guy first tried walking us down the step to enter the trail to the waterfalls and I IMMEDIATELY refused. Then he insisted on my giving him my 10 USD and he'd give me 15 EC in change (which is incorrect, I would receive 21 EC back🤦🏿‍♀️🤦🏿‍♀️). There is a $5 EC ($2 USD) fee to enter. I was unsure who to pay being that I was almost scammed. The trail took us about 7 minutes to walk. 3 security guards (they had uniforms on) where there. They did inform us that they do not take payment to enter (so again, I was confused on who to pay). The waterfalls themselves are amazing. There are 2 of them, one to the left (a 2 minute walk) and one to the right (5 minute walk) with an area to slide down into the water. Security was kind enough to walk us to the slide waterfall area. We had an amazing time. We stayed for about an hour. I'd suggest having EC so it's easier to convert and minimize scamming.. recommend to anyone!

I had a BLAST ! we even saw some goats...

Entrance was little difficult to find. Once you see the sign look to your immediate right. There is a bar called the Waterfall bar. They will guide you to entrance next to the bar. Cost...$2.50EC per person. No need for guide. Maybe 15 min walk to falls. The local dog followed us all the way there! The beginning was very easy. Then there were a couple sporty sections with slippery mud where you need to be very careful. Still not for people who are not conditioned or who have difficulty climbing or bending (esp if venturing to second lower falls which has more slippery areas this time of year). Beautiful site once there. Good for taking pictures and those more fearless and in shape people can venture across the big rocks to the water for a dip. There is a covered sitting area and trash can that was overflowing with trash. Rest of area was well groomed. Parked on side of road up the other street that met the main road by bar. There is another bar...painted green and yellow there on left. A nice adventure for sure! Wear shoes with good traction! Oh, and a must do is to get a beer or soda at the Waterfall bar and support the local economy! People there very...

The entrance is along a stone path between 2 buildings and we walked by 2 fellas one asked for small entrance fee as this is not on public lands. Presumably some of it goes to trail upkeep as we saw several guys hacking down brush and fighting back bamboo. The other fella Akeem and was actually great he made sure we took the safest route and even showed us the right way down the rock slide and best spot to jump off the cliff. Our kids had a safe memorable experience. We gave him 10 USD initially then he asked for more as we left so he was probably expecting a 20 which was well worth the hour of entertainment. Just wish we knew what the...

A must visit on the island of Grenada. Such a beautiful area, the larger fall is spectacular, and the only waterfall in Grenada that does not fall directly into a pool - you can climb some surrounding rocks and stand beneath it if you're feeling brave. The smaller falls are fun and can be used as a natural slide into a large pool at the bottom of the falls, this is worth the entry fee alone. Get a guide if you like, it's not necessary to get to the falls but it's good to get some local knowledge about the area and where the best places area to attempt to climb or slide down the falls.

The falls are beautiful as are the lower pond areas. There are NO guard rails or handholds available so bring sensible shoes or sandals if you intend to climb the rocks We would not recommend accepting a "guide" as the trail is quite short. We allowed Akim to guide us and he spent more time flirting with the local ladies than acting as a guide. He was well meaning but entirely untrained and unprofessional. At the end we had to be firm about not giving him a larger "donation" as he became very demanding. The water is very refreshing and cool without being freezing.

Stop where Google maps suggests and you’ll be greeted by locals who will ask you to pay a small entrance fee (~1$US/pp) to take you down to the falls. Gerard was kind enough to guide us to the stunning upper and lower falls. For a small additional fee Gerard also showed us where we could slide down the lower falls and where we could safely jump at the bottom. For a stop that’s a couple minutes off the road, I highly recommend!
