What a great park , place to walk around and spend with the family, walking the market and shopping , enjoy the culture, everyone is so friendly , great access to everything from the food to buying clothes , has a spot to sit and take a break in the shade. there's even a Mc D's...

My Great Grandfather Max R. Argueta built this park that and baptize with the name of October 20 in homage to the revolution of '44 when he was Mayor of Chiquimula . Makes me proud that folks both young and old flock here. The area has grown and there is a lot of life...

My Great Grandfather Max R. Argueta built this park that and baptize with the name of October 20 in homage to the revolution of '44 when he was Mayor of Chiquimula . Makes me proud that folks both young and old flock here. The area has grown and there is a lot of life to the park.

Lugar ordenado, limpio, muy concurrido por las noches. En épocas navideñas hay música en vivo, muchas opciones para comer en sus alrededores, tanto de restaurantes acreditados, como de ventas informarles que brindan comidas más tradicionales del lugar. Quizá sea necesario mejorar la seguridad, ya que por tranquilo que parezca nobesta de más ser preventivos. Recomendado visitarlo.

Tal vez la imagen no concuerda con el punto, pero es en ésta parquecito donde se concentra la cultura chiquimulteca por las noches, a degustar tortillas de harina, churrasquitos y otros bocadillos! Recuerden siempre buscar lo tradicional de cada lugar y no restaurantes de cadenas!
