Finca El Zapote — Attraction in Municipio de Escuintla

This is a must see. 10/10. The road there is rough, you need a lifted vehicle or 4x4. You also need a reservation, WhatsApp their number, they are very responsive. We didn't know and send a message via WhatsApp, they had someone at the gate in 5 minutes to let us in. It cost us 300Q for 2 people, well worth the money. Staff are beyond friendly, the grounds are immaculate. We forgot our bug spray, I would recommend bringing it.

We spent half a day there exploring the grounds and swimming. There is no food or vending, so bring what you need and take your garbage back out with you.

The swimming lake is crystal clear and refreshing. The rope swing and "jumping" board were a fun addition. We saw iguanas, birds and lizards. The gardens are gorgeous. On a clear day, you can...

¡Las siguientes actividades están incluídas en la visita privada, y no se cancela adicional por aprovecharlas! Recomendamos 3-6 horas de visita para aprovechar las actividades en un día.

-Recorrer 15mz de Jardines Botánicos (nacimiento de agua, piscina, 4 lagos) -Derecho a utilizar la piscina de agua de manantial (lazo tarzan, trampolin, 2 tablas surf) -Salir a remar en lanchitas (2) o kayak (1), -Probar la pesca, cada quien trae carnada nosotros damos las cañas de pescar, es atrapa y libera -Varios columpios gigantes de madera y bancas para descansar. -Observación de fauna local que llaman a Finca El Zapote su hogar: variedad de aves, nido/isla de garzas, patos, gansos, garrobos, iguanas, nutrías de río, entre otros -Canchas rústicas de volley-ball y fútbol traer pelota -Derecho a ingresar alimentos ya preparados. Pedimos retornen desechos. Derecho a realizar su picnic en área de jardines (excepto frente piscina). No se permite ingresar churrasqueras/estufas. No contamos con restaurante. Hay venta de alimentos para eventos Día de Campo.
