Cerro El Baúl — Attraction in Municipio de Quetzaltenango

Location is incorrect on maps. The view point is right at the top, you have to follow the road all the way around. It's hard to get lost if you just follow the road. It's near the slides area and sort of ring road which is correct in google maps.

Walking from Parque Central took us 3 hours return, with 2x 30 year olds going at a leisurely pace and stopping along the way for photos.

There was a couple of vendors set up up top selling fresh fruit and other small snacks, which was super nice.

I've heard this path can be quite unsafe so it's best to go on the weekend when there's a more people around. But leave your valuables at home just in case. There were quite a few people walking, running, biking and driving along the road when we were there around noon...
