Read moreI recently visited Lake Atitlán, and the breathtaking views upon entering the town of Panajachel were unforgettable. We found a convenient place to park and walked to the area where the boats are docked. There, we got a great offer to rent a boat for the day for just $65, which is quite affordable in US dollars.
The boat ride allowed us to visit two different towns along the lake, each with its own unique charm. Lake Atitlán is one of my favorite places to travel to, and I always discover new things to do each time I visit. The area offers plenty of hiking opportunities and trails, and you can explore on four-wheelers or take a boat to see all the towns along the lake for a bit more of a price.
Overall, it was a wonderful experience. Lake Atitlán's stunning scenery, combined with the variety of activities available, makes it a perfect destination for both adventure...

The miradores are the best way to gain the necessary elevation to take in the magnitude of the lake but be ready for a...
