Four of us went on an 18-20person boat tour, departing from Parika. Among the many (stop+depart) points along the tour was Baracara Falls.
When we left the boat and headed toward the falls, it was partly sunny and humid. We had to cross a stream (slightly above ankle height) along with a few muddy puddles. Overall, it took ~10mins to reach the falls
When we arrived at the Falls, it began to rain lightly which turned into a 15min deluge!
Welcome to the Amazon.
Afterwards, the rain stopped & it was cloudy before we started heading back to the boat. The „tiny“ steams weren’t so tiny anymore and the puddles were now large!
