The water was very murky, and the sand was littered with garbage, including plastic bottles and other debris. I was expecting a much cleaner and more pleasant environment, but perhaps I visited at the wrong time due to the rain in the days prior. I drove three and a half hours to see it and was extremely disappointed.

The ocean and the view are very pretty. Could definitely use some work, especially on the garbage and the road leading to the beach, but it's really pretty and a cool place to go. Watch out for the dogs, they're was a lot. But definitely the nicest beach in Guyana 🇬🇾

The water is warm and nice. Typical brown S.A. water. The beach is filled with litter, stray dogs, crabs, dead and live fish. There is no washroom or shops, the road leading up to the beach needs maintenance.

This was my worst experience ever. A group of us went to Guyana for a reunion. After looking at the website and pictures we decided to go to 63 Beach. Most of us was returning to Guyana after living abroad for more than 20 years, so we were excited. After a 2 hour drive, you would never know the disgust we were greeted with. Nasty beach, no shade from the midday sun. No public restroom and garbage scattered all over the place.

Come on Guyana, what are you doing? what about the village council?...

The beach have the potential to become a beautiful place, the garbage, empty plastic bottles, the condition of the road, all needs attention, put someone in charge, set up garbage containers, have a police presence, educate the people on disposing garbage correctly, set up rules and enforce them. That goes for the whole country and it will be a...
