No words can discribe the amount of frustration our group encountered at Haymaker. We booked a tee time for 6 players WITH rental clubs weeks in advance. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Tim Dever and were initially told by him that they didn't rent clubs?? He told us that in the two years he worked there he had never once rented clubs. We questioned Tim as to why we were quoted a price with rentals when in reality they didn't have them. Tim then changes his answer and tells our group that they DO have 6 rental sets but they are all rented on the course. Understanding that Tim was in fact lying to us, we asked to speak to a manager. Tim simply handed us a business card and instructed us to call him. He never once owned up to the miscues and never once apologized for the inconveniences he caused our group. Customer service is all about problem solving and making the experience enjoyable for the people who pay for your services. Avoid this facility and do not under any circumstances give them your money. Terrible management and even worse...

A beautiful public course with a very friendly and helpful staff. This is my home course and it never gets old. It may look wide open from the road but as with most links style courses plenty of challenges await with undulations, fairway berms, bunkers and water hazards. I do have instances where under my breath I scold course architect Keith Foster for rewarding my straight drive with a strategically placed bunker or berm, but then again I don’t hit it straight that often! Don’t be afraid to move up a tee box or play the “hybrid” tee box options on the scorecard. All are rated in the GHIN handicap system. The panoramic views of the nearby ski mountain and surrounding valley are spectacular. The course is home to plenty of wildlife, including a couple of cool pre-historic Sandhill cranes. The clubhouse restaurant is really quite nice as well, and I would highly recommend getting food and drinks afterward. Try and keep your ball on the course. And if you have an early morning tee time keep your pace up so I don’t have to...

This is the absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life. I'm currently out here on a golf vacation with 5 others over the 4th of July weekend. We made reservations 3 weeks in advance for 6 green fees and 6 club rentals for x $. When we arrived to the club house, Tim Dever who was over the counter was extremely unprofessional and possibly the rudest service I have ever experienced. He told us in quote, " we don't do club rentals". While expressing our frustration he told us that they actually do rentals but they only have 6 rentals and they already rented them out this morning. I will absolutely never bring my money to this golf course and will continue to make sure people will be informed local or out of state that the course management...

Course is in decent shape as we played in early July. There appeared to be a ton of divots that were not fixed on the greens which became annoying as the round went. Front nine plays pretty flat while the back does have a bit of elevation change to it (know this if you do decide to walk). We were behind a foursome of locals who were older and walking. These were the slowest people ever as multiple groups were waiting on the tee box while they were searching for their lost ball. Starter said that they should know better.

We wanted to take pictures but were rushed in the beginning. Then upon our return others were waiting to go out & were wanting to take pictures. They let them take pictures like we didn't matter. Our waiter did not remove our finished appetizer plates or other things that were empty. Our table was cluttered. He didn't even offer something different when 2 of my party didn't like or eat the soup. Service should have been better for the price that I paid.
