Aguas Termales Presidente — Attraction in Lempira

I visited this place 2 years ago. I went there this year June 2022 because the kids loved it when we came the first time. We where driving to this place when we ran into a huge storm. It was pouring rain so hard that my wiper were at their max. I told the boys that this place might be close due to the rain. We decided to continue anyways. We showed up and it was opened. The lady told me that when it rains they get more people because they likened swim in the hot springs and get the cold rain water on them. We have never experienced that until that day. I loved it. The kids loved it too. They have different sizes of poolsnwith different temperatures as well. That was one in a lifetime experience I would say. I was pleasantly surprised by this place. I didn't expect much. And the area is pretty hot so I didn't really feel the need for hot springs. But I visited early in the morning as they open by 7am, and it was perfect weather for a dip. It's very comforting water and the whole area is very well designed. Such serenity. What a great place to relax at after a long bus ride! The pools were clean, not many places to sit though in the pools. There are free lockers, just bring your own lock.
