Sol Y mar — Attraction in Roatán

A perfect dining experience at Sol y Mar. My recent visit to Roatan, took me to Sol y Mar and it was an absolute delight from start to finish. If you're looking for a combination of stunning views, fantastic food, and top-notch service, this is the place to be. The atmosphere is truly great. We happened upon this place and so glad that we did! It is a public beach ‘club’ on a beautiful stretch of white sand beach. Low key so if you are looking for space and a chill, quiet vibe compared to West Bay or West End, this is it. Free to get in, the expectation is that you buy a drink or have a bite while there. Lots of parking. No shortage of chairs, great service, clean bathrooms, outdoor showers and our lunch was fantastic. Fish and chicken sandwiches that were fresh, not frozen. Just came for a swim and lounging on the amazing water hammocks. Peter is a great server, such a friendly, genuine presence and we loved the chill ambiance: Peter helped us when we needed something, otherwise they left us enjoy the water and didn’t bother us.
