Cusuco is a must. Fell in love with Honduras after a day trip to the mountains. We even got to swim in a waterfall and learn about coffee . We had local guides , if interested I would highly recommend contacting HIT Gym . They organize extreme expeditions and handle all the logistics

Beautiful national park! Full of mountain views, tons of flowers, waterfalls, places to camp, and trails to hike. At the main parking area, there is a small museum with photos and nature information of the area, as well as bathrooms. It is much cooler weather in this area, than the majority of Honduras. The roads to get there are rough, unpaved, and you need a 4w drive vehicle with good clearance to get to some of the trail heads. Hiring a tour company is...

One of the most beautiful places I've ever been! The protected animals, birds, insects, lizards and plants, the whole lot are truly spectacular sights to behold. I wouldn't trade this in for anything else! It's a great opportunity to see active conservation and a fantastic place to get involved with conservation and wildlife protection. If you ever get the opportunity do go,...
