There was a big police presence when I was there so that made me feel comfortable but at the same time there were still a lot of weird people there. It's nice to see the church and also the San Pedro sign. Money changers will always bother you and give you terrible exchange rates never go with it. It is not a bad stop but would not recommend staying there...
