Metropolitan Zoo Rosy Walther — Attraction in Tegucigalpa

This zoo was really nice! It's big, fairly grounded in nature and the animals look really happy! They have a lot of variety; snakes to farm animals, birds to fish. The star of the zoo for me was definitely the jaguar. This jaguar knows how to work the crowd, it came right up to us and posed, even opened its big jaws to show its teeth, it was incredible.

The price was very reasonable at less than $1.50 USD. The place was not crowded on a weekend, the facilities are maintained but it's still nature. And there's vendors near the main gates ready to sell snacks, souvenirs and ice cream....

Es un zoológico bonito, un poco pequeño, la entrada está muy bien cuidada gracias a un proyecto con Japón, el interior los trabajadores son muy amables atentos serviciales, las jaulas y el lugar se ve un poco descuidado pesar de que tiene mantenimiento le falta inversión. Se puede observar que algunas jaulas han sido trabajadas por medio de proyectos a través de escuelas que han financiado. La variedad de animales es buena, hace falta más para hacer el zoológico nacional. Es un lugar que tiene mucho potencial, y muy bueno para un pequeño paseo de hora y media, la el valor de la entrada es accesible, y se encuentra en una zona muy visitada por ser parte del parque...
