A budapesti Erzsébet-kilátó a János-hegyen található, és a város egyik legszebb panorámáját kínálja. Az 527 méter magas hegycsúcson álló neoromán stílusú kilátótoronyból lenyűgöző kilátás nyílik a fővárosra és a környező hegyekre. A kilátó négy teraszáról szabad szemmel is jól láthatóak Budapest jellegzetes épületei, valamint a Pilis és a Visegrádi-hegység csúcsai is feltűnnek a távolban

A kilátóhoz vezető út is különleges élményt nyújt, hiszen a Zugligeti Libegővel is megközelíthető.

The Elizabeth Lookout in Budapest is located on János Hill and offers one of the most beautiful panoramas of the city. Standing on a 527-metre-high hilltop, the neo-Romanesque lookout tower offers stunning views of the capital and the surrounding hills. From the four terraces of the lookout tower, you can see Budapest's distinctive buildings with the naked eye, as well as the peaks of the Pilis and Visegrád Hills in the distance.

The road to the lookout is also a special experience, as it can be reached by the Zugligeti Glider. The lower station of the cable car is located in Zugliget, and it follows a 1,040-metre route up to János Hill. The ride offers a wonderful panoramic view of the Buda hills, the city districts and, on a clear day, even the distant mountain ranges.

From the upper station of the cable car, it is a short 10-15 minute walk to the Elizabeth Lookout, which offers a spectacular view in all seasons. The combination of the lookout and the cable car is the perfect way to enjoy a pleasant excursion, where both the natural beauty and the panoramic view of the city will enchant you. Don't miss this unforgettable experience if you are...

🚂 #budapest #visitbudapest #traveltips #travelsecrets #travelexperience

One of my favorite spots in Budapest. The Elisabeth Lookout Tower feels like a mix between a fairytale castle and a peaceful retreat. The hike up was pleasant, not too hard, and totally worth it for the view at the top — you can see the entire city and all the way to the Danube on a clear day. The stonework of the tower itself is beautiful and well-preserved, and there’s something magical about standing up there in the wind, far from the noise of the city. I came up via the chairlift, which added a fun twist to the whole trip. Highly recommend this if you want a quiet break from the city or just want to experience a different side of Budapest. Bring some water, a camera, and maybe a snack — you’ll want to stay longer than you expect.
