I come here for a spiritual retreat, to bask in the energy and Krishna love.

Extremely disappointed with my stay. Staying in the guesthouse Kamala where the floor around the beds is absolutely filthy, bed sheets that should have been long replaced.

The food is not like the food they present in the pictures on the website and brochures. It looks univiting and not tasty. And pricey.

Editing this review after their response that they reclean the room. Well the cleaner come into the room while I was resting, which is out of order, I am deaf.

I added one more video which starts with the watch showing the time after the cleaner was around and as you can see it was still filthy around the edges of the bed.

Get your act together team. Lowered the rating to one.

Hugely surprised on how most devotees are unfriendly, definitely not expecting that. I am a devotee, hence the added disappointment.

If you do not speak Hungary you will struggle massively to fully enjoy what the valey has offer since all communications are in Hungary. There are QR codes to get info, however most codes I've scanned don't work (404 page not found) and if you're on roaming charges it's not helpful.

Dear team, for the love of Krishna, please work on addressing all the bad reviews, they are honest ones and true from my experience.

Also. The cats! Feed the cats! Krishna had a love for ALL animals. ALL living things not just cows.

"Krisna-völgy Magyarország, sőt Közép-Európa legnagyobb és legszervezettebb öko-közössége.

266 hektáros területén a hajdani birkalegelő helyén a sokszínű élővilág számos fajnak ad otthont. Több mint 950 fa és bokor faj található Krisna-völgy botanikus kertjében, mely az oktatás mellett lehetővé teszi a természet közeli élővilág megőrzését és az étkezési terményekre irányuló kutatást is.

Kezdettől fogva az önfenntartás munkált alapelvként a közös munka, szociális fejlődés és hagyományos technológiák segítségével.

Krisna-völgy nem része az országos áramhálózatnak. Az itt élők házaiban és az irodákban szükséges áramot napelemek és szélmalmok állítják elő.

A közösség vízellátását a házak melletti kutak, valamint egy közös, 330 méter mély kút adják. A szennyvíz feldolgozása pedig egy zéró-kemikália, zéró energia nád-ágy zónarendszerrel történik. A háztartások mosási technológiái környezetbarát, „zöld” mosószereken alapulnak, mint például az ecet és a mosószóda

A közösségnek van bio kertje is, amely zöldségeket és gyümölcsöket biztosít a templom és a háztartások számára is. Termelés mellett a raktározás és eltartás is fontos szempont. 2008-ban egy 150 m2-es pince épült, mely jelentősen hozzájárul az önfenntartáshoz a téli hónapokban. Hagyományos raktározási és konzerválási módszereket, valamint dehidratálást alkalmaznak, tartósítószerek hozzáadása nélkül.

A Tehénvédelmi Központ, a Gosala ad otthont Krisna-völgy csordájának, melyben magyar tarka, tiroli borzderes és indiai zebu is képviselteti magát. Területe folyamatos fejlesztés alatt áll. Jelenleg egy 550 m2-es akol, két ökör karám, egy szénatároló és az eszközök tárolására szolgáló helység található ott. A hagyományőrző mezőgazdasági eszközöket megtekinthetik a turisták is. Épp olyan ez, mint egy élő show.

A gyermekek oktatását Krisna-völgy tanárai végzik. Az iskolát 2009-ban akkreditálta a kormány. A Nemzeti Tanterv mellett a diákok védikus tudományokat, organikus kertészkedést, önfenntartást, ökológiai életstílust, drámát, zenét, művészeteket, kézművességet és sok mást is tanulnak. Iskolánkban a gyerekek gyógynövényeket gyűjtenek és lekvárt főznek be.  Arra képezzük őket, hogy becsüljék meg a természet kincseit, az állatokat, embereket, hiszen minden és mindenki Istenhez, Krisnához tartozik.

Évente 25-30 ezer turista látogatja Krisna-völgyet, kívánságra a templomban idegenvezető kalauzolja őket körbe. Vegetáriánus étterem, és egy indiai ajándékbolt is várja a vendégeket. A legnagyobb éves vendégváró fesztivál a Búcsú, melynek során átlagosan mintegy 7000 fő látogatja a Farmot. 3 napot tölthetnek ekkor Krisna-völgyben és környékén. Rengeteg látnivaló várja őket ez idő alatt, mint pl. a kert, az akol, az öko-falu, a templom, stb, a színpadon pedig 10 órás műsor tekinthető meg naponta.

Mindezek mellett Krisna-völgy a béke és a lelki fejlődés színhelye is. Lakói az életüket tették fel Sríla Prabhupáda vágyának megvalósítására. Gondolataikat és tetteiket szeretett Istenségeiknek, Sri Sri Rádha-Syámasundarának, Krisna-völgy Murtijainak ajánlják.
