One of the best castles in Hungary. There are a lot of things to see and do, which you wouldn't expect from such a seemingly small place. However, inside they have a lot of exhibitions, either connected to the castle or to Siklós. They really use all the space they have, almost every room has something special. You have to buy the ticket outside, next to the entrance, in an underground visitor center. They are nice there, you can pay by card, they speak English, German for sure. The castle is child-friendly, there is even a dedicated part for them, castle-themed. You can bring your dog, too, I saw at least two during my visit. You should go to the walls (can be accessible from inside) and have a walk around the castle, the landscape is beautiful and you can...

The Siklós Castle is a program for minimum a half day. With the city a whole day. This well preserved castle has several exhibitions, a nice café and a perfect wine shop. (It was the best for me. 😀) A beautiful panorama, good exhibitions, a room with an endless repeating video and finally a great walk around the castle. Historically you do not find a lot of such preserved castles in Hungary. Therefore it is a good destination to visit. By car, you need to pay a parking fee, I found it high compared to Hungarian conditions. Siklós itself is a nice city, also worth...

A beautiful castle, one of the perfect examples of how a castle can be fully used even so many years after its construction. I enjoyed every segment, visual impression, cultural and educational value.

Special praise to the exhibition room of the Croatian minority 🇭🇷❤🇭🇷, which shows the rich past of the Croatian people in this area of Hungary

I hereby praise and thank the organizers for the realization of the "Croatian Room" project in Šikloš Castle 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻, and a warm recommendation to visit all parts of...

Very nice, orderly and clean castle. At the entrance there is a Renaissance Wax Museum, which was new to me. The host lady at the Villány Wine Exhibition is super helpful and very knowledgeable. Excellent experience, overall.
