One of the best castles in Hungary. There are a lot of things to see and do, which you wouldn't expect from such a seemingly small place. However, inside they have a lot of exhibitions, either connected to the castle or to Siklós. They really use all the space they have, almost every room has something special. You have to buy the ticket outside, next to the entrance, in an underground visitor center. They are nice there, you can pay by card, they speak English, German for sure. Read moreThe Siklós Castle is a program for minimum a half day. With the city a whole day. This well preserved castle has several exhibitions, a nice café and a perfect wine shop. (It was the best for me. 😀) A beautiful panorama, good exhibitions, a room with an endless repeating video and finally a great walk around the castle. Historically you do not find a lot of such preserved castles in Hungary. Therefore it is a good destination to visit.
