⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Visiting this castle was a truly unforgettable experience. From the very first moment the magnificent garden impresses with its perfectly designed paths, well-kept hedges and elegant statues. The atmosphere is unique and invites you to slow down and enjoy the beauty of the surroundings.

The castle itself is stunning both from the outside and the inside. Its fairytale-like architecture with the striking towers gives the building a very special character. Inside, the highlight is the dining hall with its glass decoration on the windows and the ceiling, designed by the world-famous Hungarian Art Nouveau artist József Rippl-Rónai. The vibrant colors and artistic forms make this room an absolute masterpiece and the highlight of the entire visit.

The entrance fee of 4,400 HUF is quite high compared to similar sights, yet the overall experience is definitely worth it. The combination of garden art, architecture and interior design creates a lasting impression that will not be forgotten.

Conclusion: A castle full of culture and history, whose beauty and uniqueness justify the price. Anyone interested in architecture, art and gardens should not miss the opportunity to...

A hely kiváló. A NÖF ezeket próbálja megmenteni. Ezek a...

Visiting Andrássy Castle was an unforgettable experience! Nestled in a peaceful, picturesque setting, the castle is a perfect blend of historical grandeur and natural beauty. The architecture is absolutely stunning — a true reflection of the elegance of the Austro-Hungarian era.

The guided tour was both informative and engaging, offering fascinating insights into the lives of the Andrássy family and the castle’s rich history. The restoration work is impressive, and you can really feel the care and respect put into preserving this national treasure.

Andrassy Castle is a beautiful and well maintained historic site that’s definitely worth a visit. The building itself is impressive, with great care taken in its upkeep. On the second floor, there’s a lovely cafe where you can relax and enjoy refreshments in a charming setting. The gardens are also very well maintained, providing a peaceful atmosphere for a stroll. Families will especially appreciate the dedicated kids’ play area, which makes the visit enjoyable for both adults and children. Overall, it’s a delightful place to spend a few hours exploring history and nature together. The prices are slightly high. Thanks 😊

The renovation of the castle ended only in December 2023, so at the time of our visit it was open only for 3 months. Both the interior and the exterior were fully renovated. There is a paid (4000 Ft) guided tour on the first floor, and a free self guided interactive tour on the second floor of the castle. The castle is beautiful and so is the garden around it, especially the 'maze' in front of the castle. There are free parking places for those coming with cars. I highly recommend visiting the castle.
