No parking cost + no entry cost Area is swampy and you need to get down an unsecured small cliff, but if you get down to the river you get a magnificent view. You can also get to the fall from the other side (there's a bank to sit down there) but I don't know how to get to it. As it's quite secluded, you will probably be alone or with just a few other people.

Small road without pavement (500 meter) to get to a small parking lot, be careful...

20 minutes walk from our hotel (River Hotel), This waterfall is a hidden gem! Very beautiful and easy to get to. Great for photography enthusiasts as it's quiet and easy accessible and easy to navigate. It's also a fantastic place for northern lights!

If you are lucky you might have a fisherman fishing, which can add story to your photos. But regardless, it's gorgeous and the views must be seen. (When we went we mostly had the entire place...

Although small the waterfall is beautiful, to me it seemed like a mini Gullfoss, majestic and powerful. Added bonus is that you can see the mighty Hekla in the background.

A few moments from the car park, no need to walk far, albeit a bit muddy and wet on the day I went, be careful it's a bit slippy.

No toilets are...

The road to get to the parking spot it not too long, but when we went in Sept 2025, it was terrible with large potholes the whole way. A standard car probably would not do well. We had a mid size suv, and it was doable but rough. The waterfall is right by the parking spot, just a short walk in the grass to get a closer look. The waterfall is small-ish but pretty to look at.
