Highly recommended hike for something not found in most guide books! Moderately strenuous for non-hikers. Park at the war time museum, walk around the back of it, and you will find the trail that runs parallel on the river up the hill to the waterfall. You will walk through a forest, cross river streams, and continue up a gravel roadway to the waterfall. Read moreA lovely hidden waterfall near the town of Reyðarfjörður. It’s not as famous as some of the big Icelandic waterfalls, but that’s exactly what makes it special — it’s quiet, peaceful, and feels a bit like a secret spot.
