Known as “The Endless Black Beach”, it looks a stunning bay, even if the weather was proper naff the day we visited. Although, we didn’t actually visit the beach itself but looked over it from the headland some 120m above. Probably one of the only beaches we have ever seen so quiet! Especially in contrast to the beaches in Cornwall.
We cannot comment on the access down to the beach itself, or even if there is any access from the car park at the lighthouse, and we cannot comment on whether the sand is fine or not or whether it is good for making black sand castles – who knows!
