This was a very worthwhile hike and hot spring! We got there at 7:30pm on a mid-August Sunday evening. We were able to hike to the hot spring in 50 minutes, spend 50 minutes in the hot spring and changing, and get back to the parking lot just in time as it was starting to get too dark.
The spring is HOT and gets hotter the higher up you go. Wished I’d brought my Tevas, as the rocks in the water were very sharp and hard to walk on.

Read moreTrail was nice but the water was too cold for bathing at the designated area. The trail in itself was OK and managable, nature is beautiful. We went on a quite windy day and the wind was so strong at some points of the trail that people were tripping over and it was really hard to walk. We never experienced such strong wind in our lives and we have been to many places. Would advise checking weather conditions before walking and not go with children or elderly in this case. You can spot hot springs here and there and even visit and bathe in the hot river. Even if you don't go all the way to the river, a little hike up in the hills is a great experience.
