This is a charming waterfall to view in the north or Iceland. It can be found along Rt 752 south of the Ring Road at Varmahlíð. The falls is located on private land and horse farm which provides a nice carpark area and WC facility for visitors. They ask for 1500kr (or 10 USD or Euro) payment per vehicle. There is a honestly system in place your payment in the honesty box at the front of the carpark. To see the falls, there is a short walk from the carpark up to the falls. I believe the walk took us less then 10 minutes where you find yourself standing in front a delightful cascade spreading over a riverbed drop off, creating a rather beautiful waterfall. There is also a hot springs pool just above the falls that you can make use of when visiting. Overall, we very much enjoyed seeing Reykafoss, finding it to be one of the most impressive waterfalls in the north of Iceland. Made for a nice driving break and stretch of the legs as well.

Visited mid-September. Good ample gravel parking closely in reach from Route 1 with clean toilet facilities at a typical Icelandic rate of 1000 ISK which was paid via card (phone, no cash needed). From there short 10mins walk to Reykjafoss waterfall which was immediately and pleasantly interrupted by the sight of a several beautiful Icelandic horses grazing nearby. The waterfall itself was very nice dropping at several levels down a canyon. You can walk down just underneath the waterfall and appreciate it at different vantage points. Further up just behind the waterfall, there is a small geothermic pool which felt warm when I inserted my hand (there are no nearby changing rooms) although had no apetite for swimming at that moment.

Visited in July 2022. Great waterfall and hot spring to see up close and not touristy. In Google Maps, put "Reykjafoss Car Park". If I remember correctly, this is the right place to park (going down 753, not 752). Parking lot is along a short, but easy, dirt road. The hike is easy and only takes a few minutes. The Fosslaug hot spring is right beside the waterfall. Unfortunately, I didn't go in (rainy, cold day and there were people in there, which I edited out of the pictures posted here). It is very small, but because it isn't busy, it's very private. There are no facilities here (washrooms, restaurant, etc.). You are just in the middle of nature. It is an easy stop along the ring road.
