So listen... When you think to yourself, "hmm... I see a bunch of rocks over there, I think that is the objective, let's go, it's close" you are wrong. Very very wrong. The hike is 1.5 miles / 2.4km and seems like forever. It's better to look down and count the minutes, than look for how much you still have and how much you made. It will take 30-45 minutes depending on wind and walk speed. Now is it worth it? Hmm... Maybe.. the cliffs are nice, birds may or not be there... But my experience was pain, 45 minutes of walking, 5-10 minutes of enjoying the scenery, and then another 35 minutes to go back to parking because it was getting darker. So overall, if you have time and luck, it...

Is a little difficult the way but depends the month that you go.

In June is very easy to drive but all the way is with stones and holes.

In the way is a beautiful lake that is crossing the place beautiful view to the ocean.

Has a special parking lot , but I saw cars driving up the hill to be in the top. But is very risky and is the same view.

The most amazing is the view in the cliff that has doble lines of protecting people to falling down.

Are thousands of birds living there and is beautiful to see them flight and hearing them.

Totally recommend this spot that is not very famous...

A quick drive from the airport and a nice way to stretch your legs, the hike to the sea cliffs is a relatively flat, 1.5-mile walk (one way) across barren terrain. It felt like being on another planet because there is only low vegetation and rocks as far as the eye can see. While the route itself offers limited scenery, don’t be discouraged. Once you reach the cliff’s edge, you’ll be greeted by sweeping ocean views and countless sea gulls perched...

This was our first hike in Iceland and we loved it. It's a relatively flat hike from the parking lot- about 1.5 miles one way. Once we got to the cliffs, we sat there for a while and admired the view.... alongside tons of seagulls :). The view was amazing and a great first start to our Iceland trip!
