If you want magnificent photos, you've come to the right place! Get ready to be blown away by the most incredible scenery and views of wild nature, massive rocks, and birds! And now for something really special! We're going to use the very same keyboards that were used by musicians for Eurovision content.

You can have the best time playing in the wild nature and taking perfect photos! In some seasons, you can even climb the big rock mountain and enjoy an incredible view of the entire area from above! It might be closed during the winter, but that just gives you another reason to come back! And there's an amazing lighthouse nearby that you can even walk to!

The area is easily accessible on foot from the parking lot, just a short 1 km walk away! Or, if you're feeling adventurous, drive the car right to the spot with the imaginary parking place (it's not a real parking spot, just stones, mud, and dirt) and pay for parking using the Parka app! This handy app is great for parking in many places in Iceland, including Seljalandsfoss, the Vatnajökull National Park, and the Fagradalsfjall Volcano. Just a heads-up: during summer, there are some feisty birds who are ready to take on the world! They attacked my head and camera when I was peacefully walking from the car park to the lighthouse – it was quite an experience!

Beautiful beach cliff scenery. Vast area for bird watching, relaxing, hilltop hiking. The Reykjanes Lighthouse and Gunnuhver Hot Springs are all in this area. If you have free time check it out, otherwise I'd focus elsewhere. Parking is questionable: there is a sign at the Lighthouse that clearly states Free Parking, however at the intersection between the hot springs and the Lighthouse there is a sign indicating you have to pay online and there are cameras watching. Not noticing this sign until after we had left, I looked up online and read a few articles. Apparently it has something to do with a bit of land that some people bought and demanded payment for parking, but wasn't necessary to see the attractions?? Idk. We didn't pay and I'm awaiting my...

What a special treat to have found this area to visit, I wish we would have had more time to walk around and explore the hills and the nearby lighthouse. One awesome thing is the close proximity to the main airport, KEF, where all the Icelandair international flights operate from. We visited on our way out of town, back home after an extended layover, and it worked out perfectly.

Beautiful landscapes surround this place and the hot springs basically right next to it, just awesome. A pretty nice looking lighthouse is also here, to enjoy thoroughly you probably should have at least 2 hours, maybe 3. The waves crashing on the rocks was really cool.

Only issue we had was no bathrooms pretty much anywhere, the lighthouse has one but it was...
