Kermóafoss — Attraction in Reykjavik

Slightly off the beaten track, just a few miles out of Reykjavik, this place is perfect for a gentle walk on a dry day. It's scenic but very close to the main roadways. It is largely wooded and the rapids and little waterfalls drown out any road noise.

Worth a short drive for the hour or so walking...

This is a lovely area and very accessible. The path to the waterfall is smooth and close to parking.

It is a nice waterfall and there are also lots of paths around to explore the little island and forest nearby.

We enjoyed this waterfall. Google directed us to the opposite side of the river from car parking area. I’m not sure if we parked in the proper area but it was a short walk from where we did park. Some nice trails to...
