Some of the ruins are difficult to find. They need more signs or markers. We saw a few of them and it is a historic place, which is good, but it is spread out and we never even found the main building ruins that we went there to see. What we did see were some ruins in an ancient Viking village, which...

Park your car by the road and walk straight 25 minutes. The road is not trodden and there are no signs except for the information board at the beginning...

Si vous avez le temps, ça fait une balade "originale" en marchant entre pierre de lave et mousse épaisse. Après on fait vite le tour de l'enclos à mouton. Pas la sortie du siècle non plus.

Nous nous sommes garés sur une partie un peu plate sur la gauche (en venant de Reykjavik) avant la route qui mène à l'église. Mais en reprenant la voiture, il y a un chemin (toujours un peu avant l'église) sur la gauche où c'est fléché (mais toujours pas réellement de parking, comme...
