Inasa-yama Park

Went there on the 30th of July on a calm and humid evening ready to gaze upon one of the world's most amazing views. To get to the foot of the mountain we walked from Takaramachi tram station for about 25 minutes. You can either walk or drive up the mountain but, if you are brave enough, you can also take the ropeway which romantically (but also eerily) has its lower terminus in/on a shrine. Prepare for some queing when night has fallen. Going up with the ropeway gives you a first glance...

Great park and night view spot with observatory offering 360 degree views, there is also a outdoor stage and this is the second time we have attended a concert , word of warning, if you are attending a concert , the 500 space car park is not available and you have to park in the city centre and take a bus or taxi up and down, this takes more time and money , we have been caught out by this twice, the park website states the car park is available but event organisers say no... oh and one...

This is the absolute must go to place when you are in Nagasaki.

There is a restaurant at the top where you can eat Nagasaki Wagyu Beef while looking at the whole Nagasaki city which is very beautiful.

You can see the port, the city, the mountain. I can't describe it. You have to see to believe!

Please do visit here in the evening as the view from the restaurant or the observatory is the Top 3 in the world after Monaco and Hong Kong. It is absolutely stunning!
