It is one of the interesting beaches in Kanniyakumari. Although the Kanniyakumari beach is overcrowded and you cannot enjoy much with your family, this beach provides you with an alternative where you can spend time with your family. When we went to Kanniyakumari beach, the beach was closed due to harsh waved and we did not have any other option rather than to go to a different beach and the closest beach was this kovalam beach. To reach to this beach you have to drive through narrow roads and it could be very confusing as well. So if you are experienced driver you can drive calmly, however if you are a beginner, driving your car could be a bit tough, you better drive slow so that you can reach the kovalam beach safely. The best part I liked about the beaches it has decent parking space for your for Wheelers and two-wheelerd, and it's hardly few metres walk to the beach. You have roadside trolley shops where you can buy snacks, but only during peak hours they will be available, so you can buy snacks. And during off period time you would not find these snacks item so if you are going with family, please pack adequate snacks and food for the kids and elders if needed. You can find a horse riding in there close to the beach. However, he could be a bit rude, but kids would really love to enjoy horse ride. He charges around โน100 per person. If there are 2 kids, he would demand for โน150, so based on your requirements, you can Enjoy the horse ride. Another beauty about this beach is you get 3 different colours of sand one is the Brown, red and the third black, so it's really different to play with different kind of sands and kids would really love it, but please do remember that the Waves are a bit harsh so you may have to watch out your kids in their while playing. Waves could be low and suddenly the waves could be harsh so watch out when you're leaving your kids in the beach. Apart from it, I would definitely recommend this beach because it have adequate parking and provides you a decent family time and beautiful with beautiful...
ย ย ย Read moreMy visit to Kanyakumari Beach during sunset was an unforgettable experience that truly showcased the beauty of nature. Arriving at the southern tip of India, where the Arabian Sea meets the Indian Ocean and Bay of Bengal, I was filled with anticipation. The beach was buzzing with activity, with families and travelers gathering to witness the day's end.
As the sun began to dip below the horizon, the sky transformed into a canvas of vibrant oranges, pinks, and purples. Watching the sun sink into the sea was a surreal moment; the colors reflecting off the water created a magical atmosphere. The silhouette of the Vivekananda Rock Memorial and the imposing Thiruvalluvar Statue in the distance added to the spectacle, making it a perfect backdrop for photographs.
The gentle waves lapping at the shore and the soft sounds of people marveling at the view created a serene ambiance. It was a moment of connection, not just with nature but with everyone around, all sharing in the beauty of the sunset. Leaving Kanyakumari Beach, I felt a sense of peace and gratitude, knowing I had witnessed something truly special. This experience is one I would recommend to anyone visiting the areaโitโs a breathtaking reminder of...

๐ auto rickshaws charged rs 50 per head to reach this place from sunrise point , Kanyakumari , which I feel is quite expensive, in addition to this the rickshawallah insisted us to pay rs 10 as toll fee. We later found out that we could have gone there from sunrise point just by walking. ๐ I found dead body of pufferfish during my visit , so I request all the parents to ensure that their child or any other kids don't touch these fish's dead body as they are poisonous even after the death of...
