Honestly speaking this trek is not a joke.Given 4 stars for the beautiful place but reaching here can cause you shortness of breath, cramps, headache if no food and hydration as this one is a tough trek if you want to complete the 3 sides of range. Mistakes done: We started late 8 am reached back 8 pm. Start at 6 am if you want to complete the waterfall, dadima and panch peer. Now reaching Kalyan then a bus or auto to base village kushivali and then starting the trek you can't start 6 am.Atleast start 6.30 or7 am. No first timers and amateur. Only physically fit and people with good cardio respiratory system should attempt this trek.No one can help you in this trek except yourself. Legs need enough strength, the whole trek has rough patch, up and down, plain muddy to begin with have good grip shoes with ankle support and a stick too. Better be trained. Best part is reaching top in monsoon which makes it more tough witnessing the greens and the clouds come down with garam food at the peak. View is superb what you actually view at Europe many places. All is in India.15 yr old we had one actually dint reach peak with us as was tired waited for 2 hrs for us at a plateau between. The whole jungle is fantastic but lot of diversions.Do not attempt to go with unknown here or you will be lost. Waterfalls and waterflows many places in between enjoy that. By the time you reach the reverse waterfall you are so tired you will just be silenced and sit up and admire God's creation.Cafry enough food. We had some ordered near Shiva temple which is made in 2021.Villagers are friendly we ate on banana leaf.Grateful. So if doubts Better don't go.Its risky one.If you have a group of strong minimum 5 encouraging fit people then only think of attempting this one. This is a less visited place. Atleast 10 treks done you may definitely go. Or just incomplete trek...

Mesmerizing beauty of mother nature. We did this trek during peak mansoon season and we were amazed by the beauty of nature. There lot of small water crossing are there. Few waterfalls at base and few during hiking up. Attraction of the trek is reverse waterfall where water falls in reverse direction due to heavy wind. Climbing till top take 3 to 4 hours but for sure you will enjoy the journey. There are no any monuments or historical structure at the top. The phadeshwar shiv temple is only which gives energy to complete the trek. You must visit this peak during monsoon.

The enchanting splendor of Mother Nature was truly captivating. We embarked on this trek during the peak monsoon season and were utterly mesmerized by the natural beauty surrounding us. Throughout the journey, we encountered numerous small water crossings, some lovely waterfalls at the base, and even more during the hike upwards. One of the trek's most fascinating highlights was the reverse waterfall, where the water cascaded in the opposite direction due to the force of the heavy winds.

Ascending to the summit required 3 to 4 hours of climbing, but the entire journey was immensely enjoyable. Although there were no historical monuments or structures at the top, we found solace and energy at the Phadeshwar Shiv Temple, which helped us complete the trek.

If you get the chance, do not miss visiting this peak during the monsoon season; it promises an unforgettable experience amidst the...

Amidst the bustling towns of kalyan and ambernath lies this beautiful place, Tahuli. The base village for this trek is Kushivali. This place is located on Malanggad road and one can use personal transport or local tumtums or bus services to reach this place. If u don't have your own vehicle then u can get down at kushivali phata and walk till base village which will roughly take 15 mins to reach. Once u reach the village there's a temple towards right hand side and a visible trail can be observed, you just have to follow it and walk for about 15 mins until you arrive a small waterfall. You have to take a right after crossing the waterfall, from there on markings will follow. The most attractive part in this trek is the reverse waterfall when you reach mid level of this peak. The climb till then is of medium grade and novices might get tired and want to stop there. For reverse waterfall you have to leave the trail and take a different trail on left. People who wish to reach the top can continue on the trail and will take another 20 minutes to reach the top. High winds and 0 visibility fog can be experienced while moving towards the top. Once u reach the top, there are grasslands and a dargha. It is recommended to carry your own food and set of clothes and a jacket (when visiting in rains) as you experience heavy winds once u reach the mid level of the trek. It's highly recommended during...

Height: 3487 ft. Grade: Medium-Difficult (monsoon) Nearest Railway station: Kalyan Base: Kushiwali village Cost: 100 per person Gang: Only me (never go alone to this place during monsoon) About Tahuli: Tahuli actually is not a fort. Tahuli comes under regions of Kalyan, Karjat, and Panvel. Tahuli mountain contains a number of pinnacles. The two important names of them are ‘Daadima’ and ‘Panch Peer’. This place is not common among the trekkers and is less explored, but is very famous for Badlapur, Ambernath, and Kalyan local people. It is adjacent to Haji Malang. Ways to Reach: From Kalyan Get down at Kalyan station and head towards the bus depot. One needs to board the KDMT bus going to Malangad. Bus journey costs 20 per head and takes almost 40 minutes to reach the Kushiwali village stop. Points to remember for this trek: Never go alone during monsoon season always carry windcheater for monsoon trek Never trust on the phone’s water resistant capability Do not risk your life just to complete the trek Let someone know where you are going. Do not blindly trust the vlogs and blogs. but you can trust mine. If any doubts do contact me. Shoes with proper grip and an extra pair of sandals should be carried. Do not try to climb from the Badlapur route.
