This temple is one of the historical temple related to Kadiri Laxmi Narasimha temple. This temple is located @4 km away from Kadiri on Kadiri Razampeta road. and one has to travel inside small road which is taking us towards this temple. there is no public transport available to reach this temple. we have to hire Auto for Up & down. if you are hiring auto only for one way then it will be difficult for you to get another vehicle for return Journey. Better option is hire auto for Up and Down.
History Beyond this Hill: This is the place where Lord Narasimha Swamy came here after killing Hiranyakashapa with the same anger. All gods and goddess prayed him to become normal as they all were afraid with Gods anger. with all gods prayer he put his foot on Kadiri hill and left his foot prints here. now also one can see god Foot prints on this Hill. as per localities there is another story also famous. Based on this second story it is said that God said to Amrutavalli Devi that he is going to forest for some work and secretly he reached to this hill to visit Chenchu Laxmi temple. Amrutavalli Devi came to know about this and she was closed East Entrance Doors and not allowed swamy to come inside the temple. Then Swamy requested her and finally reached back to the Kadiri temple back. Localities believed that this was happened on Next day of Pongal (Kanuma). Since then here people are celebrating big festival on the occasion of Pongal
There are three main places to Visit Vishnu Padalu: Narasimha Swamy Padalu are there on big Stone, where he left his foot prints before leaving to Swarg Sapta Rushula Caves: This is the secret cave which was used by Sapta rishi's to visit Lord Laxmi Narasimha temple which is @ 4 km away from this place. Temple should have a Darshana timings which is completely not followed, they allow devotees when they wish, during the waiting hrs in queue only who take tickets are allowed,y is this partiality. They made all of us n the devotees to wait in queue for 2 hrs saying maha Abhishekam is in process, only who take spot tickets r allowed without saying a word. As v went at mid night, v took the room they didn't even show us the room , took money n provided the key. Room ws just as scary as devil's place. None of the higher authority is doing things right in the temple. Maintainers in temple is the other name for attitude here.I hope by the time I visit next time I wish to see the new faces of...
