Kakinada beach park — Attraction in Andhra Pradesh

It was a really horrendous experience today, both in terms of maintenance and the attitude of the staff.

Despite paying the entry and parking fees, the staff demanded ₹500 extra just to take the camera inside — without any receipt — claiming it’s for their “personal” purpose, whereas the regular fee with a receipt is ₹1000.

Such practices show they are pocketing money instead of letting it go to the management. I sincerely request the management to keep an eye on such staff exploiting visitors and tarnishing the reputation.

I visited after 4 years, very sad to see the place in a pathetic condition — overgrown grass, poorly maintained and dirty glass bridge, no painting or upkeep, and all the gaming items were damaged and out of operation. The glass bridge itself looks structurally unsafe now, with corrosion clearly visible.

Even though we paid ₹20 per person plus car entry fees, we couldn’t even spend 20 minutes inside, as there was nothing worthwhile to see. Honestly, even free public parks are better maintained than this, and the added disappointment of the staff’s bribery expectations made the visit worse.
