Mallavaram Dam- Gundlakamma River — Attraction in Andhra Pradesh

We have visited this dam and the place is very good for the tourists. There is no entry fee and the environment is very clean and friendly.

There are no much shops to purchase food items but there is one ice cream shop at the dam entry.

Basically it is a bridge with around 10 to 15 dam gates and the water will be running down the bridge which will be very good to have a beautiful and amazing and awesome scenario to take pictures are to capture.

There are two parks at the location which are not very well maintained but during evenings we can go there and spend time.

We have visited this location afternoon at 3 PM but there are no much visitors I have observed.

Overall it is a one time place where we can go with family or friends to have a snap and enjoy.

Visited this place when were going from ongole to Hyderabad. The Google maps route was completely wrong and it took on the worst mud road which took 6 km from main road taking 30 mins and the other road which we saw after reaching the point which took us 10 mins to reach the main highway road.

The dam was very old structure and it looks very big and the maintenance of the park and dam was very good and a temple is also located next to the dam.

A good place in the nearby locality to spend some good time with family and friends, be careful while moving on the dam bridge and our cars can also be drive through the dam road.

Beautiful and peaceful place to visit with family and friends. Boating facilities are there for children.local food venders are selling ice creams,and packed food items. At the entrance Venkateswara swamy temple is there with tall galigopuram. Besides there is a”Annadana satram is there, they were serving food during lunch hours.Reservoir is so big that some of the villages are sunked in back waters. Gadiapudi is one of such village.
