a must visit this place for nature beatuy and narasimha. how to reach this place is 1. from nellore there is apsrtc bus regularly. 2. gudur on n. h. 5 and important junction in chennai to vijayawada or guntur route. get down gudur station and just 5min walk to bus stand you had to enquiry for direct bus. or catch bus to rapur, get down in rapur and catch bus to penchalakona.
from gudur to rapur it will take 45 min and from rapur to penchalakona it will take 45 min.
last bus from rapur to penchalakona as on nov 2014 we went is 22 10.
but i advice u to be in gudur atleast 3pm which will avoid any unwanted risks.
in penchalakona you can find some decent lodges not so much but you have a big hall where any pilgrims can rest which will also be decent in front of the temple.
also only few tiffin centres but it is development at a rapid space is going on .
so dont worry.
when we went to this place found wondering where the continuous air breeze there dont need any fan at all.
also a must visit a moola narasimha temple inside the foothill of the mountain . it is at walkable distance may be around 4 to 4.5 km.
autos are there but we went walking .
remind telugu is the language here so others please speak non verbally apart from telugu there may be tamil but 99.9% ,it is telugu.
a single full relax day is enough but i recommend two days stay would give you full enjoyment .
