SRI SURYA NARAYANA MURTY DEVASTHANAM PANDAVULAMETTA PEDDAPURAM — Attraction in Andhra Pradesh

Really nice place. in morning time is best to taking blessings from SRI SURYA BHAGAVAM. There is also the temples of Lord SHIVA and krishna,sai baba, etc.. And the place is also near to pandava caves.. So we complete the two things as tourist.. And the place is of piecefull, good atmospheric conditions..👍 thank you for visit my review...

A very beautiful deity of Surya deva can be found in this temple. Temple is very clean. Very famous during the Sundays of telugu month named Magha masam and esp Ratha Saptami. శ్రీశ్రీశ్రీ పంచాయతన నవగ్రహ శ్రీ సూర్యదేవస్థానం--అమరగిరి

తూర్పుగోదావరి జిల్లా,పెద్దాపురం పట్టణంలోని అతిపురాతన మైన అమరగిరి కొండపైన ఉన్న శ్రీ సూర్యనారాయణుని దేవాలయం ప్రకృతి రమణీయతో ప్రశాంతమైన వాతావరణం లో విలసిల్లుతున్నది. సూర్యదేవాలయాలలో అరసవిల్లి తర్వాత స్థానం దినీదే.

ఈదేవాలయం ఎప్పుడు నిర్మించారో ఆధారాలు లేవు కానీ పాండవుల అరణ్యవాసం సమయంలో ఇచ్చట ఉన్న గుహలలో నివశించారని ప్రతీతి.అందువల్లనే ఈ ప్రాంతానికి పాండవుల మెట్ట అను పేరు వచ్చిందని ప్రచారంలోఉన్నది.

ఈ అమరగిరి పైన పాండవులు నివశించారనడానికి ఆధారంగా భీముని పాదాలు ఒకరాతి మీద ముద్రించబడియున్నవి. ఫొటొ లో కన్నా వాస్తవంగా మనిషి పాదాలు కన్నా పెద్దవిగా ఉన్నవి.

పురాతనమైనదే కానీ అభివృద్ధి కి నోచుకోలేదు. పెద్దాపురం మరిడిమాంబ దేవస్థానం నకు వచ్చే భక్తులు పాండవులమెట్ట మీదుండే సూర్యనారాయణ మూర్తిని,నవగ్రహ దేవాలయాన్ని దర్శించుకొంటారు.
