Lion Safari is inside Sri Venkateswara Zoological park. Apart from the entrance ticket to the park, if you wish to take the Safari ride, you need to take another ticket here. As of 2021, the per ticket cost is ₹50. The total ride is about 20 mins. You get to see 2 lions in the open and few caged. As part of the safari, you would also see some White Tigers. Having come so far, it is recommended to take the ride. Specially take the ride when the Sun is not too bright (read: hot). You can get lucky catching a glimpse of the Lions taking a walk or guarding their area.

Safari is good enough but no of animals are less in safari......i found very few of them.....some in cages. Lions :- As it's lion safari,they are very close to vehicles it was a nice experience. U can watch other animals too while going to safari. Entry :- Ticket for safari is separately to be purchase inside the zoo park.costs around RS.50/- to RS.70/- Bannerghatta is the better option for safari.....u will definitely get a terrific experience there.

We loved our first time visit. The weather was pleasant. Best time to visit the Zoo is morning by 9:30am. The lion safari is worth it. There were 2 lions and 1 lioness. The elephants, hippos, snakes were all active. There are many Indian python snakes. We witnessed them eating their prey. We recommend to use the battery operated vehicles as they tell you about the animals present.

S.V.ZOO LION SAFARI.. This safari is located inside the Sri Venkateshwara Zoological park...

For safari we have to take tickets separately it cost for adults-50rs for children (3 - 9yrs)- 30rs .ticket counter is at the entrance of SAFARI...

After taking ticket we have to sit in waiting hall in Q, when safari bus 🚌 comes we have to get in and move to safari, their is no waiting time because more buses are available...

They drive 🚗 us to the lions in a bus, the lions roam freely and they are very close to vehicles and it was nice experience...

Safari ride is around 20 mints and worth for...
