A Peaceful Devotional Spot in Vijayawada
Located in the serene hill area of Seetnagram, Vijayawada—just after crossing the famous Prakasam Barrage on the left side—you’ll find a cluster of beautiful Vishnu temples, nestled together with divine energy. The most prominent among them is the Varaha Lakshmi Narayana Temple.
Highlights of the Temple Visit: • 🛕 Main Deity: Varaha Lakshmi Narayana Swamy
• 🌄 Scenic Views: Offers a breathtaking view of Krishna River and the city of Vijayawada from the hilltop.
• 🧘♂️ Peaceful Ambience: The location is quiet, spiritually vibrant, and perfect for those seeking inner peace and divine vibes.
• 📆 Best Time to Visit: I visited on a Saturday, and while it was slightly crowded, darshan was smooth and didn’t take much time.
Unique Observations:
• 🙏 Many people visit this temple with new property documents to perform special poojas—a popular practice here for seeking blessings. • 🛣️ It’s conveniently located near the Kanaka Durga Temple and is en route to Undavalli Caves, making it easy to cover all three in one trip.
My Suggestion:
If you’re planning to visit Undavalli Caves or Kanaka Durga Temple, definitely include Vijaya Ki Ladti Temple (Varaha Lakshmi Narayana Temple) in your itinerary. The divine atmosphere, scenic beauty, and peaceful surroundings make it a highly recommended...

Read moreThis place is a must-visit if you are in the area, especially in the evening for beautiful views of Vijayawada, the Krishna River, and a stunning sunset from the hilltop. There is a mini bus service, so there is no problem if you arrive by auto rickshaw or are not confident enough to drive your car on the ghat road. There are 6-7 temples in a row that can be visited one by one, though the last two were not accessible during my visit due to construction works. The temple opens at 5 PM in the evening if you wish to visit. There isn’t much crowd in the evening, so it’s quite peaceful. However, the surrounding maintenance...
