A great spiritual place. But if you are elderly or have heart issues, try taking good care of yourself as you have to do a long trekking there to reach the kund... The stairs are quite steep and it is still under construction, as I've visited there on December last and also July month, Only thing I can say is the construction is still under process from July to December. It will be good if the authority take initiative to complete the construction work(steps and stairs) as soon as possible. Also the other aspect is the road condition, the road conditions are not upto the par and just to travel 66 km it took us more than 2 hours...so u can understand how the quality of the roads are there..

Wonderful place. From Tinkusia take the Namsai route. You will gate Assam Arunachal border from where you can make permit. Step is simple. Per person Rs. 50/- and for vehicle Rs. 50/-. Follow the same route you will reach Naamsai bypass then Golden Pagoda then you will get a Tinali. From there you have to take the turn. Don't take tezu route if you are not traveling during rainy season. Around 20 kms road condition is not very good but after that road is good. Nice place. You have to climb steps a lot but reaching the Kund you will feel good. If you want to take bath do carry clothes. Bit tough for old aged people and children. And the beauty of this area is just Superb.

Parashuram Kund is a reknown Hindu religious pilgrim place. But it also has wonder options to relax and camp. During my visit to Arunachal & Assam in Dec’22, I was introduced to this camp by a nature conservationist (Deep). At the banks of Lohit River there was a lovely camping resort. It’s a wonderful place just around 9 Km from Parashuram Kund The views are breathtaking with the mighty Himalayas towering right in front of you. The erosion of the foothills of Himalayas sometimes seem like a sore eyes but mostly add to the splendour of the newly formed mountains that’s undergoing its transformation to a mature solidified mountain range.

Holy place for Hindus and all, presently in Lohit district, nice location and beyond the religious belief wonderful location for photography, above the temple along with the stairs go up and can reach Bramhakund, presently area is developing very fast by the involvement of respected DCM, Arunachal Pradesh, statue of Bhagwan Parshuram has been projected recently, religious people visit the place during Pous Sankranthi from near state and other countries also. Roads from Chongkham is single road and not in good condition, recently new road has been sanctioned. All together kindly visit and enjoy.

A pilgrimage place for Hindu. Good for nature lover & adventure. Infrastructure being developed by Govt of Arunachal Pradesh. One can visit this place either from Dibrugarh or Tinisukia in Assam. Three routes via - Kakopathar-Namsai -Chowkham another via - Sadia - Roing - Chowkham or Tezu another by air upto Tezu then to Parashuram Kund. If possible avoid visiting during rainy seasons in these places. All types of Hotels available at Dibrugarh/Tinsukia. Limited Hotels / Homestay available in Namsai, Roing, Tezu.

Visited on 19 December 2021. This is the holy place in Lohit river & Lohit bridge is very near. One needs to get down at least over 100 meters to reach parsuram kund. The steps & support boundary on both sides made the descent safe. It needs fairly good effort to get down & again go up. Lohit river is narrow with powerful flow, not adviced to swim. Water is clean with white rock bed. Very peaceful place especially if you go in the early morning when the crowd is not there.
