It charges 20 rs for entry till 7pm and the park closes at 8 pm. I literally goes after 7 pm to train for my physical examination because there is no other options in Naharlagun. It is an small in area wise and a beautiful park. Seat of cement are made for sitting and full of trees. I gave 3 star for some reason I. I don't know y they charge 20rs as it is not worth paying for, even ig park dnt take charges and it is 10000 times better than polo park. ii. Plus point of the park is that it is clean no litter. Mayb deycharge 20rs for it. Iii. Open gym is totally wasted if u try even one instrument it gives u horror movie sounds. And most of the instruments are not working or working jene tene. I guarantee you one thing if it is your first time you will feel like people must be watching me bcos of the sound but don't worry no one's watching. Iv. No lights i mean literally no lights. So if you want to wnjoy the park please do come early pay rs 20 den it is gud but aftr 7 pm it becomes impossible to wnjoy the view. I guess 3,4 lights are der in open gym. Rest is just natural light. V. One thing i noticed is that people loves to do exercise in the path where people run inside the open gym.. u may want to catch a rhythm of running but i promise there is one or group of guys doing exercise in the path making your speed to slow down. They are like human speed breaker. I think it is because of the light present there . Vi. After 7:45 pm whistle starts blowing to aware you that the time is almost over please be ready to get out from the park.. Good thing is I. Beautiful Ii. Clean no litter . Iii. Nature presence. Will add potos when i click some but who clicks poto of darkness is...
Read moreSEVERAL neighbourhood parks which have been built with great facilities for the public are being neglected and falling into disrepair. A great deal of money has been spent on building and landscaping these parks and putting up the facilities like jogging tracks. Thus, it is sad to see the parks go to waste because of neglect and bad maintenance. The drains are clogged with leaves and rubbish and have become breeding grounds for mosquitoes. After completing their jog around the circuit or finishing their exercises, visitors like to sit and rest for a while. But they cannot relax as the mosquitoes are everywhere and biting them.As they say, “prevention is better than cure”. Some effort to clean the grounds to prevent mosquitoes from breeding will give much comfort to those who use the parks daily. Children are not seen in the parks at all in the evenings. Why? They are scared of the mosquitoes. Furthermore, no playground equipments for children at all. One of the major problems is that Rubbish is strewn all over the paths, playground and exercise areas.Dustbins can hardly be found and in some places where they are available, some have been removed and used as goal posts or boundary markers. It is time that these beautiful neighbourhood parks are maintained before they are totally destroyed. Supervisors must be employed to patrol the parks to ensure they are properly maintained and the public must adhere to the rules and regulations on the use of the parks. Thank you.

The youths and few individuals engaged in narcotic and other activities have ruined the tranquility. By sole implementation of entry fee, this problem cannot be solved. Rather the respective authority should deploy 2-3 caretakers so such activities are controlled. Rate of charge per person should be reduced as it is the only nearby park where the people who are health conscious resort to, and many of them are students who doesn't come from well off family. With the prices of commodities skyrocketing in ICR areas it makes it very difficult for them to manage finances. The facilities in the park are in dilapidated condition. The management team should really look over these and issue maintenance. The toilets are in worse condition. The stink spreads all over the place making it hard to breathe. Lastly, also appeal public to respect the place and environment and refrain from littering and...
