Dreamland Amusement Park — Attraction in Assam

I recently visited the Dreamland Guwhati with high hopes for a fun and enjoyable day out. Little did I know that my day would be completely ruined by the revolting displays of public displays of affection (PDA) that seemed to be the main attraction for some visitors.

Instead of witnessing families enjoying water rides and thrilling attractions, I was bombarded with cringeworthy scenes of couples engaging in inappropriate kissing and other forms of PDA right in the middle of pools. It's as if they had completely forgotten that they were in a public place, surrounded by children and families who were simply trying to have a good time.

The lack of any sort of staff intervention to address this issue was appalling. Lifeguards and attendants seemed to be more interested in their own conversations than ensuring a comfortable environment for all guests. I felt uncomfortable and violated by the constant exposure to these intimate moments that should have been kept private.

I understand that people may be in love and want to express their affection, but there's a time and place for everything. A waterpark, where families and children are present, is certainly not the place for adults to indulge in what should be private interactions. The lack of respect for fellow visitors' comfort and the complete disregard for appropriate behavior was deeply disappointing.

I strongly urge the management of Dreamland Guwhati to take immediate action to address this issue and ensure that their park remains a family-friendly destination. Until then, I cannot recommend this waterpark to anyone looking for a fun and enjoyable experience, as the overwhelming presence of PDA ruined what could have been an otherwise...

The place just mooches off people's money with nothing really there to explore. I will seriously describe it one by one

There's no guide for directions. The amusement park is divided into two sections, one going up the hill and one towards the bottom. Due to not knowing where we were supposed to go, we walked around a kilometre to what looked like the snow room only to be informed that we need to first check out the top, they were quite rude. We had to walk AGAIN TO THE TOP OF THE MOUNTAIN.

7D show, relatively okay, but could have improved a little

The drop. Okay I was excited to rise this one... I mean it looked like the smaller version of the most amazing ride in imagica, but it would still do, after all it was 'the drop", right? WRONG. They literally just circled the way to the top and then circled back to the bottom, that's it. My worst possible experience, thank you' dreamland' for destroying my dream.

The snow land. Um... Excuse me, is that the snowland or Iceland? Or just a huge oldass refrigerator. It literally had rock hard ice, the helpers just added to my joy. So fun😑. I watched a lady break her wrist bone in front of me by falling on the ice.... Opps I mean "snow".

That day I went there, it was supposed to be 'my day'. It was the wrist 'my day' ever. The employees, the rides, the sun, the smell, the ice. Thank you dreamland. I had a very wonderful day and I m soooo freaking glad you mooched off my hard earned money like it...

Please don't come here to waste your money instead go a little far and enjoy in accoland you will get quality rides, water, staff etc. What they charge is not worth with what they provide. The negative and positive Points are as The Water Quality is too bad. it is like milk with a strong bleaching powder smell while accoland has clean transparent water. All of the infrastructure in this park are very old as no proper timely maintenance. So a little risky. Some water rides are not usable even though there are only Two pools. There are frequent power cut during play time and it also takes a long time to turn on the generator. So we need to wait for a few min to play again. 5.There are no lifeguards for riding so we ride by our own. There can be accidents if you ride without confirming no people in the end point. Everywhere is dirty since their godown is too close and very noisy when the generator is on. Since dreamland is situated in hilly regions moving from a place for Rides to other is difficult. More than 3 items of rides are not available with what they advertise. Good Point:- The 7D quality is better than accoland.

Final Verdict:- I don't recommend others to come for enjoyment. Instead spend a little more and enjoy fully in...
