⭐✨ Ethnic Village (এথনিক ভিলেজ) is truly one of the best places we visited during our Haflong trip. I would easily give it 5 out of 5 stars. The moment we entered, it felt like we were walking into a different world full of traditional culture (সংস্কৃতি), art, and natural beauty.
The whole village setup showcases the beautiful lifestyle of tribal communities in Assam and Northeast. The traditional houses made of bamboo and wood are so well-built and designed that they reflect the real essence of pracheen kala (प्राचीन कला) and simplicity. The place is very clean, well-maintained, and decorated with natural flowers and plants everywhere, giving a pure and peaceful vibe.
We saw many handicrafts (হস্তশিল্প), traditional tools, and cultural items used by local tribes. The staff and guides explained everything in detail with so much respect and love for their culture. They were using simple Assamese, Bengali, and Hindi to make tourists understand, which made it easy for us to learn.
The view from the village is amazing, with hills and greenery all around. The cool breeze and calm environment made us feel so relaxed. We also enjoyed taking photos in front of the traditional huts, wearing Assamese traditional gamusa (গামছা) and caps. It felt like a cultural picnic.
I would recommend Ethnic Village 🛖✨ to everyone visiting Haflong or Dima Hasao. It is the best place to understand local life, culture, and feel connected to nature and tradition.
